Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has tightened grip against the power pilferers and night raids are continued in all over the FESCO region in addition to action of special team on daily basis.

According to details, on special directive of Minister of Energy (Power Division) and Chief Executive Officer CEO, FESCO night raids are continued in FESCO and during the last night, special team conducted raids in all eight district of FESCO including Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Mianwali, Chiniot, Sargodha, Khushab and Bhakkar and checked over 701 electricity connections and apprehended 17 consumers stealing electricity and issued detection bills of 10,500 units worth rupees one lakh fifty thousands.

FESCO register FIR against 2 consumers while applications have submitted in different police stations for registration of FIRs against 15 power pilferers.

CEO FESCO has made an appeal to the public that they should immediately inform the FESCO about any kindly of electricity theft around their surroundings so that immediate action should be initiated. He further said that special campaign would be continued till the elimination of power pilferage from FESCO.
